Why must our beloved Pets must wear an ID Tag by Law?

The Control of Dogs Order 1992 states, "... every dog while in a highway or in a place of public resort shall wear a collar with the name and address of the owner inscribed on the collar or on a plate or badge attached to it."

When you are out in a public place with your Pet, they must be wearing an ID Tag with the following information:

• Your Name
• Door Number & Postcode
• Contact Number

All of this information can fit on the reverse of all of our tags (even our smallest sizes!). 

Even if your dog is microchipped, a Pet ID Tag is still required by Law. A pet wearing an up to date ID Tag is much more likely to be returned quickly than one without.
